☄ First Impressions

♚ VISUAL: She's pretty in a down-to-earth sort of way but there is no denying she's worn around the edges. It can be seen from the way she constantly frowns to the shadows that can be found under her green eyes if she doesn't wear makeup. She has bright orange-red hair and usually keeps it pinned back in some fashion like a bun or loose ponytail or braid that's usually styled to look chic yet simple. ( reference. )

♚ FASHION: She keeps a polished and professional appearance thanks to her pressed suits and fashionable dresses, doing her best to dress and impress the big wigs to keep on their good sides. She prefers suits and jackets when going out, pencil skirts and low-heeled shoes. Something sensible to get by her day. Her makeup routine is simple enough - concealer and foundation with some blush to give her the appearance of liveliness along with lipstick to bring some colours to her lips. As her eyes are a vivid and distinct green, she leaves them be after applying a coat of black mascara and eyelash extensions. ( reference. )

♚ DEMEANOUR: Ruby is a woman of perfect etiquette and personal silence. She gives off a collected and patient appearance when you first meet her. Someone who is gentle and polite. There's a sense of wariness and weariness to her, like she's driven to the ground and is forcing herself to push through all the same. She also gives off the impression that she doesn't want that to be questioned or asked about.

♚ AURAL: After having lived for almost two centuries, Ruby has, more or less, lost her strong Scottish/Irish accent though she still knows her dialect and languages from back home. These days she speaks with a polite, soft-spoken voice that has a hint of an accent from somewhere but it is hard to pin down. She's articulate and precise with her words when in public but is more quick to stammering and faltering when with friends and she doesn't need to worry about how she appears to them. The only time she truly sounds enthusiastic and happy is when she's either with Smiling Jack and he's made her laugh or when she's with VV. ( reference. )

♚ OLFACTORY: Having no particular interest in being pinned or marked for a particular scent among the Kindred, the most Ruby will do is give her herself a thorough bath and smell clean but that's about it when she's with other Kindred. She does have a soft spot for Coty's Vanilla Fields perfume, something she wears on the occasions she needs to make a good impression with people or more powerful members of her clan. She likes the smell of vanilla note being tempered with musk along with a hint of amber and jasmine twist.

♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: She will pick up the fact someone is in her mind if someone is trying to probe her. The immediate action of hers is to send out message or warning to let them know that they should back off or else.

♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: She's dead, for one thing, and she has a strong reserve of magic in her. She's also a vampire if they can pick that up. If they can read further into that then they'll find out she has a speciality with alchemy and blood manipulation and she's used those two arts time and again.

♚ BACKTAGGING: Pretty please with sugar on top! Backtagging is love but if you would like us to continue on with a new thread, let me know because I understand not wanting to get bogged down by old threads.

♚ FOURTHWALLING: I'm alright with someone breaking the fourth wall with Ruby. The most she'll do is give a puzzled smile but leave them be. Maybe if your character says it in an interesting way enough she'll be curious enough to ask them more information.

♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: If it's hugging or holding hands than she'll be alright with it. She'll accept a kiss to the hand or on the cheek from strangers for formalities sake. Anything beyond that is solely reserved for Smiling Jack (

secondmate) and anyone else she willingly and clearly enters into a relationship with.

♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: F I G H T H E R.

♚ RELATIONSHIPS: While I currently ship her with my friend's interpretation of Smiling Jack, (

secondmate), I'm also open to her having relationships with others provided they have good chemistry/interest in each other.
